Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, an American-Mexican sportscaster. She currently works for ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter as well as occasionally hosting SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. The daughter of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. When she was just nine, Collins's ability to speak two languages has allowed her to get a job in Miami as an assistant producer for Univision. The same role she also worked for Primer Impacto (a network magazine) and Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports show). Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually moved in Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. She also has an older sibling. She has an older sister. In 1992, her parents separated and shortly afterward in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. The couple stayed with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer, where she had been provided with an opportunity to work. Antonietta still a senior at high school but she was clear about the career she wanted to pursue. When she was deciding whether Mount Union is the right choice for her, Antonietta went to visit the campus. The campus was beautiful and offered the degree she was looking for. When she completed her high school education she was accepted into the University to pursue media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU, of which she's a member. They had a very close friendship. Mark Bergmann inspired her to be self-confident and his passion in journalism was a huge influence on her. She in turn, strived to meet his standards and never failed him.
